Blogtober 2014.

In October 2014 while searching for a position to begin my career, I started a project of my own conception called Blogtober. This was a special month of blogging with new content uploaded every 5 days and the primary objective to prove my written and digital skills.

During this month I was applying for a variety of opportunities in advertising, marketing and communications, and by the end of the project I had managed to earn myself a six month digital comms internship. I say earn because I know for a fact that this blog was instrumental in my success. It was by no means easy writing new posts every 5 days, especially alongside two part-time jobs.

Below is a list of the 7 posts which made up the total of the project (links included). If you want to know more about why I decided to do Blogtober, read my first post.

I wrote a concluding post the week following my project with a summary of the success of
Blogtober and graphs detailing my viewing figures.
